I have been riding scooters since folding scooters were first invented back in 1999! I have a passion for anything & everything that promotes this sport, that's why coaching the next generation of riders is something so close to my heart.
I have reached the top of this sport & now I'm teaching the next generation! I've learned how to make my coaching sessions fun, engaging & safe! Whether it's a school assembly with coaching workshops, birthday parties, skatepark coaching, public/private events or something else.
I use my past experiences & expert knowledge to connect on a level that is easy to understand. Breaking everything down into easy & manageable steps. Helping to strengthen the mental barriers as well as the physical barriers through a growth mindset approach to teaching.

Scooter riding teaches a lot more than just fun tricks. My scooter coaching sessions have been specially developed to teach kids the fundamental skills needed to thrive in life. Kids leave my sessions feeling empowered & ready to take on new challenges in life. Learning fun new tricks whilst taking regular breaks to share expert techniques, gained over decades of experience & broken down into realistic & achievable steps. Encouraging hard work, time & effort to help progress & using the experience as an opportunity for kids to understand the steps needed to prosper in all aspects of life.

The Terry Price Recognised Achievement (TPRA) Award is arbitrarily awarded to exemplary scooter riders under direct training from Terry Price. Riders must show a significant level of progression, passion, determination, safety & ability during a coaching session.
Endorsed by the sport of scooter riding's recognised international governing body The International Scooter Federation & supported by the scooter coaching programmes of BMX Academy, P&O Cruises & Sustrans. The prestigious TPRA is one of the only awards of it's kind within the sport of scooter riding.

Terry attended our primary school sports festival on Monday 8th July. He is INCREDIBLE!! I can not speak highly enough of this scooter coach. He is one of them people that you can instantly tell absolutely loves his job. He is so good with the children, he delivers his session with such high levels of enthusiasm and the engagment of pupils is extremely high. We loved him so much, we asked him to extend the hours we booked him for, so that he could stay for our summer fayre after school. He managed to squeeze in so many activities within 45 minute sessions for each class, the super Mario game was my favourite. We’ve hosted sports festivals for 6 years, involving lots of different sports and coaches, Terry is by far the best coach we’ve had at our festival and the stunt scooter activity was a massive hit with our pupils. We are already certain that we will be booking Terry again next year for our sports festival. We look forward to having him back.

I loved watching Terry deliver his assembly and scooter skills sessions. Myself, and a number of teachers commented how great he was with the children. The children were all incredibly responsive, had a great time and learnt lots of new skills. His assembly at the start was incredibly inspiring too – a lovely message about resilience and perseverance. The flip at the end was amazing too!

Today, we booked Terry for my son's 7th birthday. It was an absolute blast! I cannot believe he kept 7-10 year olds entertained for 2hrs, no bored faces - only fun, laughter and super happy faces. We first met Terry on a P&O cruise, his scooter training sessions were a massive hit with my kids and in the following 6 months I have booked him for 2 birthday parties and an evening session with with a cub group I help run. Terry's enthusiasm and energy level is fantastic and all the kids had a fantastic time, he managed to give the individuals who needed it some one to one time despite keeping the rest of the group entertained. I especially liked the theory he taught the children about how to approach learning any new skill. I would wholeheartedly recommend Terry, he is simply amazing and am trying to think of an excuse to book him again.
